Missed A Day? It’s Okay!

Life happens. There will be days when you can’t even find time to open your journal, never mind making a to-do list. I missed 3 days this week, I was travelling and barely had time to think, let alone journal. There will be days like this for you, and maybe days where you just can’t. So do you give up? Say this is not for you? of COURSE you don’t. You pick it up the next day. Fill your blank pages with doodles, tape a picture in your journal, use some washi tape, let your kid draw on it or, GASP! Just leave it blank. Give yourself permission to do this. Journalling is supposed to be a tool to make your life easier, not harder. Pick a time each day when you can journal so that it helps take away your stress instead of adding to it. Remember, this is fun!

We have exciting news! Matt from MP Leather has made us some gorgeous leather journal covers. I am completely in love and I know you will be too.

The Facts:

These are made from leather purchased from a Canadian company. They are completely hand made by MP Leather, right here in South-Western Ontario! They feature a snap closure and pen holder with inside pockets.

These journals are hand-made in small batches so what you see available on the website is what we have. If you have a special request please message us and we can discuss arrangements to try to meet your needs.

I promised you something exciting in the new year, and they’re finally here! Check out our two new colours, Snow and Denim, available for order now! I’m digging the white myself… I have one stashed away to use for my next journal. Granted, it’s the one that my 2 year old coloured on with a permanent marker (she’s so creative…eye twitch), but it’s still gorgeous.

At Dawn Fox, we take that to the next level and add a little creative flair. I’ve spent years trying different methods, some easy, some ridiculously complicated.
